We are seeking an Assistant Tech Director!

The Assistant Tech Director position is a ten-month contract for our 2017-2018 theatrical season, with the possibility of an extension. The Assistant Technical Director will work closely with the Technical Director. This includes scenic construction, shop supervision and installations of set, lights, sound, special effects and other technical needs. This person will help to build a sense of community by utilizing volunteers in all aspects, while creating a build schedule that achieves a finished design on time and on budget.

Summer Internships

GREAT is seeking a 2017 Summer Camp Program Coordinator Intern.  The Summer Camp Program Coordinator is the primary point of contact for both summer camp parents/guardians and camp instructors.  They are responsible for the internal operations and processes that ensure instructors have the resources needed to lead well organized summer camps and managing all communications with camp registrants and their families regarding confirmations, reminders, wait list openings, and scholarships. GREAT is seeking Instructor Assistant interns ages 13-21 for our 2017 Summer Theatre Camps.  Instructor Assistant internships are one week each (we have 16 openings) between June 6-June 30 and July 10-August 4.  To apply please fill out the following application.  Interns receive a small stipend, training and great work experience! Please apply by April 28th.  Interview and/or decisions will be made the week of May 1st.

Management & Marketing Internship

This position is geared towards a college junior or senior seeking a degree in management, marketing, advertising, digital design, content creation, social media management, or similar looking for an opportunity to use apply their education and skills to build their experience.  Responsibilities include supporting office staff and administration in their day-to-day functions including marketing, fund development, office administration, accounting, human resources, and general business management.

Scenic Build Internship

GREAT Theatre strives to create high quality live theater productions.  The Scenic Build Internship will experience all carpentry aspects of GREAT Theatre’s productions, and events. This includes scenic construction, shop supervision and installations of set. This person will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of professional theater artists and local volunteers.
