BE PART OF THE STORY

Frog and Toad are excited to bring their story to the stage in this heartwarming and fun-loving musical: A Year with Frog and Toad: Kids! Based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved series and with lyrics and music by Willie and Robert Neale, A Year with Frog and Toad: Kids follows the two titular characters throughout an entire year filled with fun adventures, playful songs, meaningful lessons, and lots of laughter.

Experience the life-changing power of friendship as Frog and Toad learn how to navigate change and confront fear with the help of the other animals in their community. We are committed to casting a group of actors ranging in age from 8-17 that will reflect the people of our community.

Regardless of how the script identifies roles, we will be casting all roles to include different shapes, genders, ethnicities, and identities. This show offers a variety of singing/dancing/movement/acting roles–and as an educational organization, we are open to actors with various experience levels in all of these categories! The after school rehearsal period is convenient with a 4-6pm timeframe and tech is over by 7:30pm (so no super late nights!), and the joy of performing for full houses of student matinee audiences is a delightfully memorable experience!

We want to get to know you! Please indicate any special talents on your audition form including but not limited to formal dance training, gymnastic skills, or musical instrument proficiencies.
