Theatre is a story, a performance AND it is lighting and sound.  The electronic skills that make scenes more fascinating, understandable and beautiful can be taught to our area’s young people.  Into the existing Great Theatre World Headquarter’s steel building, a small “practice theatre” will be created.  The stage, seats and lights are changeable, to suit the stories.  This Learning Lab will allow campers to advance their artistry behind the scenes.  We can have this available for the next group of summer campers and for students of all ages for years to come. Please help create it.

--Mike and Karel Helgeson

We are thrilled to join Mike and Karel Helgeson in offering this challenge to Central Minnesota. Together, we can all fulfill Great Theatre's mission to “bring our communities together through shared theater experiences."

--Steve & Deb Palmer

GREAT Theatre inspires imagination, builds confidence, strengthens self esteem and gives  children, youth and adults in our community opportunities to work together to create something magical. Time and time again, GREAT shows us that our children are not “just above average” but over-the-top, five-star WOW performers. We are proud to support GREAT Theatre!

--Dick & Mimi Bitzan

The arts are an important part of having a strong community culture.  We are certainly proud to support the GREAT Theatre and their mission to educate and entertain audiences of all ages.

--Jeff Gau, Marco Inc.

GREAT theater is a wonderful place for stories.  Stories of immigrants, stories of fantasy, stories of struggle, stories of right and wrong and sometimes a story that is just plain fun and silly.  Stories are a wonderful way to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together. St. Cloud would not be St. Cloud without GREAT Theatre.

--Chris & Joanne Kudrna

One of our favorite things to do as a family is see all kinds of theatrical productions and we continue to be amazed by all the GREAT Theatre shows we have attended. We are honored to support GREAT Theatre because of how it continues to enrich the lives of those involved in shows and the entire community.

--Dan & Sue Miller

We all play a part in making the greater St. Cloud area stronger and GREAT uses our investment to enhance our community in so many ways.  GREAT’s vision for a learning lab theatre is one of the most exciting reasons we support GREAT financially.  Students creating theatre in a professional setting is a creative outlet not found anywhere else in central Minnesota.  We hope you will join us in supporting GREAT and creating a more vibrant community.

--Mike & Janet Reagan

The Morgan Family Foundation is so pleased to have been able to provide the lead gift for GREAT’s capital campaign.  The organization has grown tremendously under Dennis’ capable leadership and engages so many residents in producing theatre by and for youth, which makes a more vibrant community.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our community.  We have seen the transformative power of theatre for youth and families, and believe the programs of GREAT build social ties.  The Learning Lab will further GREAT’s abilities to provide young people with the chance to lead, create, and come together for a common purpose.

--Paul & Joanne Dorsher

Most patrons can remember the first time they saw a play or musical, and the moment they decided, “This is for me!” The transformative nature of theater is undeniable, but for many it is often out of reach. GREAT Theatre, through their educational programming beyond the Main Stage, is this community’s exceptional artmill. The gist of which is well rounded citizens who are capable of leading successful and productive lives in this community.  Simply put:  our GREAT investment is a capital contribution in this community’s future -- it’s youth!

--Marc & Marie Sanderson

GREAT is a tremendous asset for our community — for the performers and for the audience members.  With strong leadership and seventeen years of delivering high quality arts experiences, supporting the Setting the Stage
campaign was a priority for me.

--Barb Carlson
