Thank you for your interest in auditioning for a GREAT show!

If you’ve auditioned for us before, welcome back! If this is your first time auditioning at GREAT, we’re thrilled to have you! We are in our 28th season and are excited to add new people, new talent, and new voices to our company as well as welcome returning volunteers to our stages! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or you’ve never been on stage before, we encourage you to audition!

All shows at GREAT are cast through an open audition process. For each show we list the roles available and suggested ages (over a season we have hundreds of roles available for youth and adults.) We strongly encourage actors of all races, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds to audition for our productions. We are actively investing in creating an environment that is safe, accessible and welcoming for all. Learn more about our specific shows by clicking below!

October 29 & 30, 2025

Auditioning for Cabaret presents the opportunity to be part of a historically significant yet relevant piece of theatre. The show will be staged in the round at the Helgeson Learning Lab, bringing the audience just feet away from performers and into the world of 1930s Berlin and the rise of fascism. This production calls for vulnerability and emotional honesty as it grapples with heavy themes and provocative storytelling. Cabaret explores complex themes, including anti-Semitism, Nazism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, abortion, and sexual content. The production also portrays physical violence, smoking, alcohol use, and historically contextualized imagery of hate. We are approaching this project from a trauma-informed lens with intimacy protocols and consent-forward practices embedded in the rehearsal process.
