Call-backs will take place at GREAT World Headquarters, Helgeson Learning Lab Theatre, 710 Sundial Drive, Waite Park (next to Crafts Direct). Lots of close free parking available. Plan to arrive ten minutes early and dress for movement

AHOY! MURDER! DEAD AHEAD! ROLES: Looking for Actors with experience in physical comedy and strong comedic timing. Ad lib and audience interaction required.

Captain Seaman: Captain with little experience, no sense of direction, innocent, proud, 40-50ish, male

Richard: Captain’s catty cousin, egotistical, dramatic, selfish, aspiring Broadway dancer, singer, 40-50ish, male

Grandma: Captain’s Grandma, starts out daft and hard of hearing then turns into spunky sleuth, feisty, aggressive, 40-60ish (plays a spry 75 year old), female

Charles: Former lover of Richard, tipsy, hard up for cash, competitive knife thrower, singer, dancer 30-40ish, male

Dawn: Had a past relationship with Richard, sensitive, kind, vocal range lowers significantly when upset, singer, 30-40, female

Suzanne: Aspiring ventriloquist, wants to be respected, Jill of all trades, ships Gofer, has a darker side, 2 different voices/personalities 25-35, female

Patrick: Student, Minnesotan/Wisconsin accents, sings like Elvis, innocent, 20-25, male

Fortune Teller: Mysterious, aggressive, bold, big on education, leader, 25-50, female

Servers (4-6): Start as regular servers but reveal their true identity by the end of the play Various ages/genders, character actors
