Each year, more than 300 volunteers contribute over 21,000 hours, making GREAT experiences possible for our community! We have opportunities for all skill levels, including many family-friendly projects or opportunities for businesses to make an impact.

Lobby – Greeters

Office

Office volunteers assist in mailings, assembling donor candy, and other office needs as they arise. This volunteer position is need based, without a standard schedule.

Costume Shop

Costume Shop Volunteers are trained by costume shop personnel, report to the Costume Designer and/or Costume Shop Manager, and assist in a variety of ways to produce costumes. This role may include sewing and non-sewing activities. Costume shop volunteer hours are scheduled with each production’s needs in mind. There will be standard volunteer hours throughout the season, as well as additional volunteer shifts as needed.

Scene Shop

Interested in making props, building sets or scenic painting? Looking for a safe and welcoming place to learn new skills and see your work bring joy to thousands of your neighbors at venues like the Helgeson Learning Lab and the Paramount Center for the Arts? Our Scene Shop creates the scenic elements for our shows (such as walls, platforms and unique items) and as a volunteer you would be as well. We invite volunteers of all skill levels and provide training and education in carpentry, painting, and even welding.
